Life Drawings - Drink N Draw

Many life drawing meetups (this one at Drink N Draw Omaha) end up being a giant pile of papers that never get scanned. Here is an attempt at categorizing and organizing some of the best.

I have to draw the face

Poor angle, but decent sketch

There is never enough time

Peacock feather (One of my favorite drawings I have done)

Life Drawing 8/28/2013

I frequent life drawing sessions. This session was at The Artist League in Council Bluffs. Here are a few sketches and drawings that I am proud of.

1 minute Gestures

Nice pose!

Artists make for great models

Various styles keep me interested

The final 20 minute drawing

I look forward to bringing you more drawings & sketches if you are interested!

TED-Ed Animation Complete!

I was invited to collaborate with TED-Ed to create an animation to introduce the novella Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott. Teaming up animators and educators is a fantastic idea. It was a fantastic opportunity and a great project to be involved with!

David Housden graciously collaborated with me in remixing tracks from his fantastic Thomas was Alone Soundtrack into a fantastic score to help extend the living world into a larger landscape.

You can find more of his work here:

I have posted a further breakdown of some elements and methods used on my website: Here - TED-Ed-Exploring-Other-Dimensions

A New Demo Reel!

I have worked very hard to keep learning new things and pushing myself (and my computer) to create animations and imagery that I can be proud of. Follow me on Vimeo!

So many memories and oh so much rendering.

New Years Resolution - 2013

After one successful year of trying much harder and to stop making excuses. This year I will focus on reaching out, networking, and collaborating with heroes. Cheers to the future!

Business Cards

It always seemed inappropriate to greet someone and to pass them a business card. I can now find myself inappropriate... People inquire about the print quality, front & back printing, variety of cards if you want, and really high quality card stock - I prefer Moo.com - it is great!

A Website!

I now have a website - CaleOglesby.com!

Check out various projects I have been working on for the past couple years. Special Thanks to Caleb Coppock @ Uphill/Downhill for helping me get it up and running.
